Axel Kicillof criticized Javier Milei at the inauguration of a public works project: "It's not true that there's no money."

The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof , inaugurated the Papa Francisco Viaduct in Burzaco , Almirante Brown, this Sunday. The project, more than 1,200 meters long on Route 4, aims to improve connectivity and road safety in one of the key productive areas of the suburbs , especially near the Almirante Brown Industrial Park. During this event, the provincial leader took aim at the president of the nation, Javier Milei ,

Kicillof emphasized the importance of the project for the region: "This is a fundamental project that will transform connectivity and security in one of the most important productive areas of the metropolitan area. The Papa Francisco Viaduct is an example of how the State can improve the daily lives of thousands of Buenos Aires residents," he stated.

However, not everything was limited to public works; he also added criticism of the Argentine president. " It's a lie that the national government lacks resources . It just asked the International Monetary Fund for $20 billion, and not a single dollar is going toward housing, education, healthcare, or public works?" Axel Kicillof denounced.

In this context, the governor emphasized the asymmetries in federal revenue sharing: "Of every 100 pesos collected, 40 are contributed by the province of Buenos Aires, but only 7 are returned in revenue sharing. The rest is kept by the national government, which uses it to sustain a scheme that only favors financial gambling and speculation," he questioned.

"Not to gambling, not to cryptocurrency, not to Wall Street. When we go to the elections, we're also going to tell Milei: give back to the province what belongs to the people of Buenos Aires," Axel Kicillof added before a crowd, according to NA.

On the other hand, Axel Kicillof celebrated the name of the viaduct chosen by the community: "This bridge is named after an Argentine Pope who represents the culture of encounter. This bridge unites communities, workers, entrepreneurs, production, and consumption. That's why it's called Pope Francis, whether you like it or not, Milei," he remarked.

The event concluded with a patriotic message: "Long live the homeland, long live sovereignty, long live public education, long live national work, long live Argentine production, long live the people of the Nation," the provincial leader concluded to inaugurate this public work.
